FREE creative arts workshops for young people

The Papy ShowWe've joined up with Creatives Across Sussex to deliver two FREE workshops for young people this July in Song Writing, Song Production, Dance, Physical Theatre and Creative Writing.

The workshops are pitched at young people aged 12 - 17 and offer the chance to work with some seriously cool professional artists from Audio Active (audioactive.org.uk/), Little Green Pig (www.littlegreenpig.org.uk/) and The Pappy Show (www.thepappyshow.co.uk/)

All the work produced during the workshops will be featured at our SK8FEST on WEDNESDAY 25 JULY 4pm-9pm at the NEW Skatepark at Victoria Park, Haywards Heath.

Whether you want to write a song, a poem, a rap or create a short piece of dance or theatre, by the time the weekend is over, you will be super-confident and ready to show your work or have it played!

The FREE workshops run from 10am-4pm at The Albermarle Centre, Oathall Community College, Haywards Heath on Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 July.

Places are LIMITED so to register your interest email Sally & Paul at sk8fest18@gmail.com and tell us what you are particularly interested in.

Your Energy SussexCouncils in Sussex have joined together to help local people to pay less for their gas and electricity.

The Your Energy Sussex initiative is led by West Sussex County Council, with support from local District and Borough Councils. There are no dividends to shareholders or bonuses to Directors because Your Energy Sussex is owned by Sussex Councils and, as a ‘not-for-profit’ company. Your Energy Sussex uses surplus income to help local people who are struggling to pay their energy bills.

In addition to providing cheap local energy, Your Energy Sussex invests in renewable energy projects and because the partnership uses local installers this creates investment and job opportunities for people across Sussex.

The latest industry figures show that just 25% of people changed their energy tariff or supplier in the last year. That means 75% of people are likely to be on the most expensive 'standard variable' tariff, paying way over the odds for their energy and could save up to £300 by switching.

We want more people in Mid Sussex to switch and pay less for their energy. Your Energy Sussex offers straightforward and honest advice to customers and energy prices that are always fair and competitive.

If you would like to find out how you could save money, take care of local people and support renewable energy projects in Sussex then call Your Energy Sussex for a quote on 0800 952 0001 or visit www.yourenergysussex.org.uk
