Weight Off Workshops posterStart your New Year journey towards a healthier lifestyle with one of our low cost weight management courses. 

Our 8 week virtual Weight Off Workshops and exercise classes will encourage and support you to develop a healthier way of eating and increase your activity levels.

The Mid Sussex Wellbeing team has trained advisers who can work with you to make the changes you need to set yourself on the path you want to be on. The course will help you to build confidence, make positive food choices, engage in more activity and work towards a sustainable weight loss.

The course focuses on motivation and helping you to make changes to your behaviour, so when you lose weight it stays off for good. Expert nutritionists cover topics such as portion sizes, sugars, food labels and the psychological triggers for eating.

Our next Weight Off Workshop courses run from January through to March 2021 at the following times:

Tuesdays 11:00 - 12:00 from 26 January until 16 March 2021

Wednesdays 13:30 - 14:30 from 27 January until 17 March 2021

Wednesdays 17:30 - 18:30 from 27 January until 17 March 2021

Thursdays 18:00 - 19:00 from 28 January until 18 March 2021

Free virtual health talks

Virtual Health Talks posterThe coronavirus pandemic and social distancing measures currently prevent us from meeting in person, so our Wellbeing Team has organised a series of free interactive online health talks to help local people stay happy and healthy during the lockdown.

Topics vary from how you can get a better night’s sleep and wake up feeling refreshed to supporting loved ones through the Menopause. Overcoming the barriers to exercise and moving more at home to practical tips on how you can improve your overall wellbeing.

All talks will be hosted on Microsoft Teams at 12:30 on the following days:
